Kalafina - The Whole Sky

Stars are twinkling quietly in the sky, carrying the unheeded forlorn prayers to oblivion as they vanish.

Shining future is carried by fragile branch, yet it hesitates to bloom as it is still filled with regret for losing its bud.
Look, this is the time to bloom because when the fruit is plucked by wrong hand, the world will end.

An unstained, white falling snow will melt when it feels warmth.
What broke you was a wish for utopia. I see it in the kindness behind your veracious cold eyes.

The fierce twinkling star returns from heaven, heeding the vengeful prayers to bring the sky down.

I don’t wish for elegies nor laments for my sacrifice.
I am struggling to keep my heart intact, for my wish, even if it cost my life.
I want to see my wish bring light to this world, shining ray of hope.
Everyone wished for pair of wings to reach heaven (utopia). Their wishes resonated, and the chorus of whole sky was born.
My fiery wish pierces through sky and heaven. I shall offer Plumerias for those who are incinerated by my burning desire.

The twinkling star is fading. It is being reignited by luminous remnants of my shattered wish reignites.

I shall reach my destination, people call it “world without bloodsheds”, and the moonlight directs me where to go.
Until I reach the utopia I prayed, until this dream ends at your mourn.

*Not literal translation. This is writer's reinterpretation of Manten lyric.
*Plumeria is a flower used to decorate graveyard in some Southeast Asia countries.
